1990's Zodiac MK1 - Need Floor Parts / lower skin replacement

Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well.

I picked up a Zodiac MK1 for cheap and want to rehab it before summer. The tubes, seams, and transom attachments are all in great shape. The skin floor is another story, and must be replaced.

Unfortunately the boat is missing one floor section, which I must fabricate. Also missing are two of the 'board stringers'(?) that stiffen each board and provide the hardware tie down rails. (see pics)

My questions are:
1) What kind of wood and paint should I use for the missing floorboard?
2) Where can I find the 'board stringers' I am pointing to in the picture? Does anyone know a guy sitting on a cache of old Zodiac parts?
3) Is there any guidance here on how to fabricate a new skin floor? I have a keel from another boat but need to purchase new material and cut it all to size.
4) Any other general feedback about how to get this thing up and running is much appreciated!

I have added some pics to an album here, and hope this links show them in this thread.

Thank you in advance for any guidance!

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum. The subject is a little niche, I don't wonder you've had little response.

I can't help, except to advise you to waterproof your finished floor section and stringer with low viscosity epoxy which will penetrate the ply and also strengthen it. Ordinary exterior grade plywood will be ok. No need to paint, it will have a varnished appearance.

There are a number of sellers on eBay, it's around $35/kg and 1kg/35oz will probably suffice.

Totalboat do a penetrating epoxy which is hard for us to get in the UK but you don't have that problem. It will cost much more than regular epoxy and is probably overkill.

Some while ago I pulled this out of the river.

By chance it's not the part you are after is it?

I think I still have it.

wow this looks very similar to the other pieces that I have. If you happen to have the dimensions for the side pieces and H-channel I would be interested in purchasing those. I would create a new wood piece.
