£106 on a pump and no adpater

I bought a Bravo BTP12 M pump this morning and was amazed that it comes with a spider of 7 adapters and claims to be the best pump for inflatable boats. I have now spent over 5 hours and 90 miles round trip to get hold of an adapter for the pipe end that is Halkey Roberts. I wanted to keep the end on the pipe that came with the pump for other inflatables and push this into a Halkey Roberts adapter. Well this was not simple and the solution I now have is not that good

For the price I paid I think the kit should have a proper Halkey Roberts adapter as this valve is used on so many boats.

Also I now know why the videos of this pump in action has the person holding the valve as the pump operates.

Not at all good for a pump that was so expensive

Dennis

Yup Dennis I thot that as well when I bought mine.
I bought a Halkey Roberts off of Ebay for a few quid when I got mine rather than breaking my back holding the nozzle on during inflation.
I'm pleased to say the pump still going strong after 7 years loyal service.

Bought one of these Sevylor 12 V pumps for £35 a few years ago from Decathlon . The tubes a brittle but it does come with a full range of adaptors including the Halkey on its own.

Yes I bought 2 of these adapters and they are ok but the end on the pipe only just goes inside them and if you push too hard it will split.

Halkey Roberts, Quicksilver, Wetline Honda, Zodiac inflate adaptor 21mm OD

A quality adapter should be included

I looked at those and nearly bought one then decided to go for the Bravo cos it will deflate also.

How you are expected to get that pipe back in the bag is also a mystery

How do you find it Paddlers? Does it inflate to a high pressure, ie 12psi ?
I have the Bravo BST but think it's on its last legs. Already had to strip it down once and repair the high pressure pump. Can't bring myself to spend over £100 on a replacement so looking at alternatives....

Can't comment on the high pressure functions as I have an aluminium floor but the thing has worked perfectly inflating my Honwave tubes .

Thanks Paddlers. I also have am alloy floor T35 but use the pump for an inflatable awning with needs 12psi. From the description I've found online it apparently inflates to 15psi so fits the bill 👌

Sorry to hijack your thread Bigplums!

Don't mean to hijack but I have a brand new BTP 12 for sale that is surplus to requirements if anyone needs one.

I will never spend a penny with seamark nunn after buying launch wheels (delivered punctured, sent replacement wheel, wrong hub size, lots of hassle with despatching order) also the bolts they recommended were the wrong size

Rude and arrogant was my experience too

I use a bravo but the Halkey Roberts adaptor doesn't have the "inner bit" to depress the valve so doesn't work....... supplied by [emoji1312][emoji849]

Used the pump for the first time properly last week and was very impressed especially with the deflate function which helps greatly when packing the boat away
