WARNING: Trailer Scam

http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/F120471

I e-mailed this seller asking about the trailer, this was the response I got:

Yes the trailer is still for sale. The trailer is already at a shipping company custody and i can ship it to your home address in 3-4 working days. Please let me know if you are still intersted and i will tell you more about this transaction.

Obvious scam, buyer beware!

Report it to the B&O admin-they are pretty good. It'll be gone by the morning.

Have you reported it to B&O? They're pretty hot on removing ads once they're identified as bogus.

I saw an advert is the magazine version of B&O (i think) and there were two jetskis advertised for £1400. The number to phone was a premium rate 09.. number...how could the people putting the magazine together miss this?!

Hi Tim,

The advert above has now been removed, we cannot physically check all the adverts that go in to the magazine I am affraid, we try to check most of it. The adverts in the magazine are mostly made up with adverts booked in through the website and if they appear legitimate in the first place then they will probably slip through. Not ideal but with classified adverts it is always buyer beware these days.

Any dodgy adverts please feel free to let me know and I will kill them!! (the advert that is :-) )

Cheers

Stephen

They was a Zodiac with a 40hp engine on Boatsandoutboards for £530 seemed ok but when emailed they said they would deliver free of charge, kept emailing him and it was a scam, the shipping agent lark gives it away.
Is they a report button you can click as I had to email B&O?
Also can anyone translate this as its the reply I got when I told him I reported him:

SA MOARA MATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

NIGERIAN POWER

Guess where he was from...

His email address is:

go_service_ham@hotmail.com

One of our 'imported' lorry drivers!

I don't think the online translators are much good... they are too literal.

Apparently sa moara means 'death to' and mata is actually ma-ta (Ma = mother ta = your)

So you're not going to buy his Zodiac then?
