Trailer service - Lymington

I need to get a single axle braked trailer fully serviced in Lymington next Wednesday or Thursday.

Tried getting hold of Ben (aka Trailer Guy) but no avail.

Anyone else recommend someone that could a good job for me?

Good recommend - called left vm, call back 5 minutes later.

Thats good, I spoke at length to him and he seemed very proffesional. I will find out later after he's serviced the trailer

I didn't as I wasn't sure he'd know forum names!

But in hindsight, he can't get many calls about servicing a trailer for a boat like yours!

When is he servicing yours?

First wednesday next month.

I just want to make sure its all fine before I tow it to Corsica. Up and down the A34 is fine, but the South of France and half of Corsica is a bit more.

Ive also asked him to show me what he does and how he does it, so I can do it next time. He will supply me with a full set of bearings / brakes etc, so I can do it in Corsica myself in a few years time. Rather than get ripped off by some local that dosent speak English and cant fit the right bits.

Im not expecting to need to replace anything, but without having a look you never know.

Apologies for not getting back to you, I've been involved in the NATO resilience thingy, servicing their trailers and making sure they're good to go, for the summit in Wales. Means I've been away from home for a bit. Pics of a couple of them below. Beasts!
