Sorry if this has been covered already guys, but here goes.
I have a Honwave T38 IE2 & a Yamaha F25 combination... which is the heaviest outboard i can put on the boat at 56kg, and also the most powerful.
I'm getting a bit fed up hauling the boat and outboard out the back of my pickup every time i want to take it out, as the set-up is a pain in the butt - especially humphing a 56kg outboard 200 yards sometimes.
So my question is; would storing the inflated boat on a boat trailer with the outboard attached for long periods of time be advisable? Will the outboard weight permanently on the transom, without the support properties of water damage the seams on the boat if left for a few years (covered)?
I believe SIB's are best stored inflated, I suspect it would be best if you took the outboard off - if you are storing for a few years it won't be much of a pain to take the outboard off.

Sorry I should have clarified - I plan to use the boat about once per month. But in the periods of not being used in between is it OK to leave the outboard on or will this degrade the seals after years of storing it like this?
If you support the weight of the engine on the ground then the transom is only balancing the outboard.
With my rib (now sold 😥😥😥 I used to put a block of wood on the ground under the skeg of the outboard and adjust the jockey wheel on the trailer, so the engines weight was taken off the boat.
