Snipe Trailer Maintenance

I have a Snipe Trailer as follows:


Trailer: Snipe Y4-1300
165 x 13 8 ply radial.
Alko Brake shoes. 200x50 hub

I need to buy some sealed bearings and brake shoes as part of annual maintenance.

I have seen these on ebay and wondered if these were a correct fit (they say they are triple sealed)

also for the Alko Brake shoes are these ok?

I would use genuine KNOTT -AVONRIDE bearings pt no 571005 these come as a kit with nut and circlips from towbar and trailer center £30 each and use genuine brake shoes I paid £84 for a double axle set can not find the bill just now will post it when I find it

Hi Ben that would be great I also need the brake pads as well. The trailer and RIB are both in france otherwise I would be having you do the job. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards Nigel

No probs. Think an OE Alko axle set (shoes and springs for one axle) is around £50. I'll check on the bearings for you.
