Ratchet lashing strap

For many years now as an additional failsafe I've been using a Sampson branded Ratchet Lashing Strap from the main spine of the trailer to the Bow Eye on my RIB via a shackle.
It gives me a little peace of mind should the winch ratchet mechanism or strap itself break on the road.
I do of course use other methods of strapping the boat to the trailer as well.

I always hook it up immediately the boat is on the trailer before I drive up the slipway, so that's where it's the biggest insurance before I've got away from the slipway and strap the boat down properly.

This is the second one I've had, the first one I replaced after @5yrs out in the sun and weather, this one is now way past that and I want to replace it.

Both of the previous ones I've just walked into Machinemart and picked up off the shelf, but they no longer sell them and I can't find one anywhere else.

It's @1m long with a Triangular ring at one end and a loop at the other end where I can feed it back through itself:

Does anyone know where I can get one now?
Exactly as above, I don't want to change what I do in this respect.

Thanks

I've just spent a good 20mins goggling and can't find anything like it. Only open straps with the delta ring.

If you're using a shackle from the strap to bow eye anyway why not just use a standard double eye sling?

RIBase
Find your local rope/truck parts/lifting equipment supplier. They should make you anything you want to your own spec. I use kingfisher DSM in Mirfield. They will even make them with stainless fittings and ratchets for sensible money.

Heck I would give you one if you weren't half a world away. I have a couple I never use that came with a 110Volt winch I use to hoist my E-MTB to the ceiling with.

My trailer came with a hook on the end of a cable for backup to the winch strap. Ironically since we drive the boat on and off the trailer the winch strap and cable strap always stay clipped together (The metal hooks are not a typical failure point.).

Apologies, I posted the first post in this thread then couldn't get back to it for a while.

Many thanks for your input, as you can imagine I spent far too long on google etc trying to find a direct replacement before asking for help.
It's a bit daft that something so readily available 10yrs ago has no presence on the internet.

I think I'd already realised I'm going to have to go with a double soft ended strap, which shouldn't make much difference really.
Thanks for the suggestion as to who could make one, I have already contacted a couple of local places, but they've not got back to me, and of course a big thank you to Peter C, it's a shame you are so far away.
