Quick question on roller position

What would the panel advise as being the best position for the rear set of rollers on a swinging beam trailer.

Should the rear set of rollers be set under the two main longitudinal beams within the hull, which means they're quite close together or should the rear rollers be as far apart as practical (dictated by position of chines etc) to provide better balance?

Thanks

if rollers are too far apart you may find bow hits rear crossmember on launch or retreive.

^^^^^^^this[emoji106]. I set the rear rollers as far apart as possible without the bow crashing the cross member on launching & recovery. Then tweak the position so that the chines sit nicely between the rollers. It takes a bit of faffing to get it spot on. We used a slip at a local inland lake where we could faff at leisure.

I'm with Pikey Dave, rear rollers as far apart as practical without the bow hitting. Closer together sets the boat higher which can mean its not keen to roll off on shallow slips also means its further to winch back on on shallow slips too.
