Pacific 22 trailer

I'm thinking of selling my Chinook and upgrading to a Pacific 22. As most that I have seen advertised come without a trailer I will need to look at buying one and wondered if there was a particular type that I should look at and from where? Cheers.

Joe, do not under estimate the weight of a P22. It might be 1600 kgs empty but add fuel, anchors, chain and all the other junk it's probably nearer 2000 kgs. A suitable trailer will weight 750 kgs so you are looking for 3000 kg axles at least. Old Spice sat on a roller trailer but a bunk trailer properly set up would be just as good. Try to avoid sealed bearings if you have a choice.

I think SBS Trailers supply them as OE. If you get nearer to buying a Pac let me know, I may know somebody with one.

Mine sat on a Hallmark Super Rollercoaster 6 which suited it perfectly. As Pete says you really need to consider the total weight and use a big 4x4 to tow the whole rig. Mine weighed in at about 2.8 tonnes. I used a Landcruiser VX to tow it. You'll not have much change out of £20k
