Looking at new trailers.
Don't think this one galvanised (awaiting reply)

How much roughly is it to galvanise one? (16ft trailer)
Who's good to go too in the south?

Only ever had older trailers before when the nice finish goes or they've been resprayed so don't know what it's meant to look like. Hopefully it is cause that'll save searching!

As PD says, it does look galvanised to me, however, it also looks like very cheap and flimsy, just by the pics.....! IMHO...!

For the same sort of money, you can buy a brand new, bomb proof, reputable one...! Just my 2p worth.

Give Ben, aka 'trailer guy' a pm, and see what he can do for you. Also have a look at ' extreme trailers' website, they are in southampton.

Forgot to say, last time I got something galv'ed, it was £25 min charge, then xxx amount per kilo. A trailer like that would have to be dismantled, to be dipped, etc etc...!

Hope that makes sense.....?

Yeah I've got a few quotes from some quality trailer makes for £700-800 which is pretty good.

I asked extreme and they quoted £1000 which is abit much for me and compared to the others.

Just exploring different options at the moment. Hoping a used zapcat trailer will come up for sale soon!!

Bought a trailer tonight! Perfect length and width.

Needs a few adjustments such as bunks moved & would like to fit a bow snub and larger wheels as they fitted smaller ones.

Got a brand new winch with it too.

Other than those easy bits it was dirt cheap too! £300 compared to £800.

No brainer! Click image for larger version
