Brake adjustment on trailer

Time for my MOT check on my Indespension trailer with ALKO brakes. Actually should have done it some time ago but forgot to do it..... As the brakes will be checked on a brake dyno wondering is there any way to pre check how well they are balanced? I think there is an allowance for difference between the wheels in breaking power, but to save time and cash would like to have it about right the first time?

So how to check braking power balance the DIY way?

Just set them up in the correct way and they will be fine
Then pull hitch in with a ratchet strap and see if they lock up when you spin the wheel

Thanks for help, guess will have it sorted soon! Next issue can't get the fog light working correctly, but i am sure that is related to electronics of the car(zafira tourer). It worked in other cars but not in this one. Don't think there is a easy fix, will try to have it fixed during next service by the dealer.
