Nissan dealers do they sell cars

Sorry moaning again but

I've been in contact with three local Nissan dealers and one internet supplier

Richard Sanders in Kettering took nearly two weeks to get a quote, offered me pants for mine then came back with a better deal on the price of the new one by knocking the extras off the price

Sturgess Nissan Leicester 10 days no quote and I've called twice

Camden Nissan in Northampton sent me a one line email with just the list price of a new Adventure, I had to beg to get some form of a quote from the salesman

www.carsandfinance.com came back with the quote I asked for next morning + a new quote when I changed the spec

I have no link to any of the above and would like to use a local dealer for supply and service but it looks like the .com will get the bussiness

Are dealers all the same? must be very easy selling cars

I had exactly the same problem a couple of years ago when I went to change my car. Ended going back to my usual dealer and getting what I thought was the best deal I could from him. Who knows if it was good.

Obviuosly the Nissan dealers are determined to prove that there is a crunch by not selling cars!

I would have expected dealers going out of their way to get more business in these difficult times.

Or do they just not care???

Main Dealers

I run a Toyota main dealer and can promise you it is not easy selling cars at the moment!

Not all main dealers are the same, but I do hear this a number of times.

I can't understand why sales people do not treat customers properly, their incomes depend on it, they only get paid when they sell a car.

Can I tempt you into a Toyota bedajim?

Quite .. I went to buy a Commercial Shogun and Outlander Diamond Spec from Shields in Glasgow, ok I had a trade in, the sales guys looked keen enough, but they never even gave me a quote , even after I rang the sales guy a few times, and they had the stock too, how are you supposed to sell cars with an attitude like that ? In the end I got them elsewhere without any bother .... Granted that was in May, but it aint just Nissan dealers

Had a full service on the Shogun yet? That'll really crack you up.

We have two Mitzys and wouldn't have another if gifted it due to the appalling service from our local dealer.

We had an X5 previously, had to go as it wouldn't pull 3.5t, didn't have enough chairs and was a bit 'soft'. BMW customer service is in a different stratosphere compared to Mitsubishi

Yep, £1300 for the two extra chairs. We live in a field, those Michy Diamaris' don't plug mud too well. It'll be a Disco 3 next wearing a set of BFG's.

Ermmm 'too well' is putting it very well.. how about they are complete sh*t, especially the 315's on the rear X5 was never an 'off' roader IMHO Mind you .. you'll have vibration white buttock by the time you arrive with those knobly things on, not to mention a steering axle with a mind of its own when you go over 50 . try the new Dirt Devils for total grip .... but they do nothing else well ... at all
