Land Rover valuation pls
I know that there are a goodly number of landy keepers on here. I'm contemplating selling mine and I'm told locally that they are getting sold back into the UK for good money at the moment. To that end, you guys might give me some pointers as to what she might be worth? I appreciate that it's all down to condition, but I'll give you a general idea and you might give it a shot. I've had a troll through UK sales sites, but TBH, the figures vary wildly.
1998 110 Hard Top 300TDi in met Tonga Green (2 PAX plus middle seat)
109k miles - one owner (me) from new. Low miles as I live two miles from work
Excellent mechanical condition, probably due to not doing much work and my having it serviced annually. Parts replaced are Alt., steering pump, front CVs and consumables.
Body and chassis are sound and look good, but there are 17 years of dings, minor scratches, chips and some corrosion.
Extras fitted: Swingaway wheel carrier, A bar and lamps, rock sliders (sprayed to match), safari snorkel, diff and steering guards, diff breather pipes, jate rings, rear steps, tow pack, some black chequer plate on wings.
All help appreciated.
Oh yeah, I'm selling it because I'd like something a bit more comfortable. I was 17 years younger then and they've been hard years on me

Well, that's quite encouraging! At current exchange rates, that's about €50,000 or thereabouts
I'll go and break the bad news to her. We've had quite a few adventures together and I'll be sorry, in some ways, to part company.
