Interesting trip to Marsden today

Took me 2 hours to get to Marsden this am to many Golfs and BMW coming at me side ways

my next door neighbour was supposed to be walking across the moors up there today to have a look at the old Flying fortress or B29 and Dakota that crashed up there in the early 1950s.
going by your pic wondered why they hadent set off this morning ,lol

just mentioned that to the couple next door this morning , he also thinks there might be just one German plane up there,,for BS,,
they was telling me that theres that many lost and crashed aircraft up there on the high mooorland between Manchester and Huddersfield its like a pennine Bemuda triangle,
says the well known one is just over near your way on the Ashton /Glossop side,
a super fortress .
seems a god forsaken place in the best of weather conditions up there ,
