How not to recover on a slipway.

!

Something's not right there. Even though it's a Renault, it should have managed it solo unless the boat is stuck and/or the difflocks fubar.

Ouch! Difficult to determine the length and weight of the load, but rear wheels on the trailer could be bogged down into what looks like a silted up river.

You sure it's not like one of those Etec tug of war tests and there was another truck on the other bank of the river trying to pull it all the other way

There is an old scammal on the side of the m5 just outside Taunton. One day I'll walk in and bring the old girl home as she is slowly b e conning a Bush.

Not allowed a toy and a rib, wonder if the wife will notice??

Thats a seriously engineered boat trailer too..... Bet the trailer alone weighs in excess of 10-15 tons!
Combine that with 30 + tons of Princess on its back and a muddy slipway and your asking fir trouble.
Something is making me wonder if that Renault is not of the "export" variety also..... Hmmmm.

I think the bright red wrecking gear might give it away-I know the one you mean

I wonder will I need to invest in that type of recovery equipment for my rib? No wonder boating is so expensive

Might of helped if they had put a bridle on it so the strain was across both chassis legs. Also did they attach the tow chain to the tiedown point and not the recovery eye on the centre of the chassis???
