Horse Boxes.

Why is it that Horse Boxes can seem to legally spew out even more exhaust gases than a fleet of Stagecoach bus's ?

Following yet another one today whilst out cycling I just had to stop before I threw up everywhere. Said ccrappy old vehicle was belching clouds of obnoxious fumes everywhere. How on earth it passed an MOT I don't know, and how on earth this fits in with the rest of us supposedly producing less than 100g CO2 per mile, as per the next EU directive coming our way, I don't know either.

Do the landed gentry have some sort of get out clause with regards the environment.

The more I understand helping the environment and the more I see it in practice I'm beginning to think the government wants us to work every hour god sends and the bosses to pay little tax on what we do. But in our private lives we will be taxed to hell for what little pleasure we like. Seems like if your a big voice the government runs scared but on your own it will trample all over you.

Bit like being a mushroom really. Kept in the dark and fed ____.

Plenty of them round here too , worse than hippy wagons and usually driven badly too.

There doesn't seem to be a law for horses or riders . Try using any other vehicle on the road and dropping a bucket of poo every mile with no Licence MOT or insurance .
