I've not seen one for sale but plan to make my own bracket and fit the spare wheel on the drawbar. It wouldn't have any steering function, would have to lift the hitch and reposition for a straight run.

I wish I had the equipment to do that. They don't have any steering function bit don't need one . If you look on YouTube there is a more simple square section design using pins and a smart swing over design. Surely there is a big opportunity for somebody to make and sell a similar design in UK? It would be perfect for me

They used to be made by indespension and known as a sand skipper. No longer shows up as a Google search but might be worth giving indespension a call

hi roger dodge. im a new member and this is first contact with some one. ive made a drop down wheel bracket . quite an easy thing to make i got the idea from a video on youtube . you cannot believe how easy my wife and i can launch and retrieve our 5 metre rib on the beach. i will try to forward you some pics of it if i can. it also acts as a spare wheel carrier. cannot recommend enough.

Welcome to the group , I am relatively new to this site . It is really friendly.
Thank you for your comments . I am not sure I could make one as I do not have a welder . It would make my new life in the Highlands much easier if I could sort something.
