BUT no wear and tear, so if a part fails due to something else BE PREPARED, BIG BUCKS. LR DO NOT have their own warranty, it is subbed out to Car Care Plan, LR just put there name on it but if you have an issue they don't want to know and refer you to CCP. Just warning you Warranty Direct Luxury care is what you want, it covers wear and tear, unlike other warranties that state what is covered and the rest is not, luxury care tells you plainly what is NOT covered and everything else IS covered. Make sure you are covered for ICE, air bags, EGR valves and no betterment

Enjoy the car, mine spent the first 18mths on and off tow trucks to LR dealers, all sorted now touch wood, it was eventually found to be the turbo, it kept cutting out at 70mph in the fast lane when towing immediately down to 25mph hopefully you will be lucky

The steps will hold it together well enough but apart from the AA you should also get RAC and Greenflag. Nice car though, can't argue with that.

sod the steps, get it into the mud, that will hold it all together and you won't notice any bits that may fall off

enjoy the holiday, we nearly got to Mylor a couple of years ago, but didn't work out in the end, sounds good spot though

Steve - its March 2008.

It was originally up for £25995, then the screen price in the photos of £24,995 We paid £22495 with 24 month warranty, full set of seat covers, mat for boot and mats all round, Supaguard on the paint work and interior.

I'm sure i could have got a cheaper car from a non main dealer, or privately, but we're happy so in my eyes that makes it a good deal

Got to give a big thanks at this stage to Disco3 forum, like this board, a great resource and some great people. So far on there I've managed to source the swans neck towbar for £75 and the towbar electrics from a main dealer parts department who post on their for £108. Will be fitted with the help of a Disco3 forum member on Saturday morning - must remember quality bottle of wine

A result after the local main dealer in Bristol wanted £778!!!

Just wish we'd had the car 7 days ago, the out going XC90 wouldn't reverse the boat into the very soggy paddock in Salcombe where it lives, had to ask the farmer to come out with tractor! Never again will I get caught out
