so much work!

This boat was draged around the navy yard on its hull, we re-shaped the bow and fixed all the forklift marks its now near 100% and good to go!

Top Idea!

We need to hold 4-6 boards on this boat and also have a radar. We wanted to keep the bridge clearance down so we designed this telescoping board rack.

I like the telescopic idea. I drew out a design for my SR5.4m where part of the A-frame would do the same to accommodate shortboards (<7ft).

Out of the mold

We have the part out of the mold and we will now shape and fair it the prime and paint! This is the first part i ever did with infusion so it was cool to learn how its done. Learned a lot and next time it will be much easier! We use the black spray paint to find our low spots. so after a light sanding any black left gets a little filler. I will post some pictures tomorrow so you can see the progress! It looks a little rough in the pictures but it is baby smooth.

I wish I'd had that program when I did my boat. It's not that expensive. I used a free program and it took a long time....
