The above link describes a great event a week ago. Our town has no Navy or Coastguard support and a sperm whale and her calf got tangled in an old gill net, 30 miles offshore. About 50 locals and 6 boats were involved in the rescue over two days. See our local internet TV station above for the fantastic outcome. This was bloody dangerous thing to do for fo a bunch of sport divers and fisherman.
