Take advantage of weak Sterling

Now that Sterling has plummeted I think it's about time you Yanks started looking to the home of RIBs - good old Blighty - for your next purchase - what with the credit crunch and winter being here now is definitely the best time to buy. Shipping shouldn't be too much either.

Have a look at

Ebay UK

Ribnet - for sale section

http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/php/welcome.php3

etc etc

RIBs seem really expensive in the USA and there isn't much choice.

But if you add the cost of flying over here to have a look at it in the first place, then the cost and hassle of shipping it back, is it worth it?

Well looking at the cost of even ancient RIBs in the USA I would say YES. anyway with all the people on Ribnet I am sure someone could have a look for them and take umpteen pics!!!

Hopefully it is easier to import RIBs (w/motors) into the US than it is Land Rovers (and other vehicles).

It should be said Codders, that this situation applies to Eurozone buyers too. I stocked up on XD100 last week at Redbay. STG at 1.14 AND 10% discount! No-brainer.

I don't suppose we could tempt you Euro-wise (come on in, the Euro's lovely?)....

Willk - we are just hanging on a couple of weeks until its 1:1 that way we won't need to reprice anything and can just start using the new symbol!
