Smart Tabs

Has anyone tried using "Smart Tabs" on their Rib. The website has a good video on the product.

smart tabs

My 6.5 came with them installed by ribcraft so I can't tell you a before and after comparsion. What I can say is that the boat pops on plane seemlessly. The bow stays down and it just planes. The other thing is it will stay on plane down to about 15 kts. With my older rib, an 18 ft ARC, you needed to throttle up then back down when on plane.
So, based on an unscientific comparsion, I think the smart tabs work well.
