Protector

For all us US RIb nuts; we get a chance to see the "protector" SUV "gunboat" on discovery channel this Monday night.
Check out Future weapons at 9.00p and see the boat demonstrated in San Diego bay, with my buddy russells yellow Northwind RIB in a supporting role.
It's the boat I had worked with last year , but then missed the Tv slot when I got Bells Palsy

Will be even more peeved tommorrow when the pice airs

Still ,tune in and check it out

What, no one saw it

You missed my TV debut in my RIB.

Actually ,blink and you would have missed it.
The actual piece on the Protector was great and lasted about 20 mins.My role (The terrorist ) was taken over by Russels friend when I got sick.But they did use about 2 seconds of me and my RIB shot on a thermal camera

.(Right after the close up of the gun mount ) Narrative something like "terrorists make dry runs to check out the security"
So noticed Discovery channel run repeats quite often, so bound to be on again soon.

I was looking for but didn't see anything that looked like a rib. There was an awsome APC, automatic shotgun, a new HK but no RIB. Did i watch the wrong show? WHat other weapons where being shown with the RIB I will do a search and see if i can find it.

Future Weapons is repeated pretty often. For instance, I've seen the episode with the Dragon Skin body armor about 4 times, and the one with the GPS equipped artillery projectile about 3 times.

I'll keep an eye out for you...

Hi Donnie,
it was one all about remote control vehicles. The Protector was the main part of the show and then also a piece on a land robot armed wih a gun.
You cant miss the Rib part as it starts with the host on the bay in the Northwind.(bright yellow ) shot from a helicopter.
I checked the discovery site the other day and it was too recent to be listed yet,but hopefully will be on soon so the UK guys an check it out
