Finding Zodiac F470s

Anyone had any look finding Zodiac F470s lately? They used to show up regularly on government surplus websites, but not so the last year or so.

Has anyone here bought one from surplus? How was the experience getting it delivered? What condition was the boat in?

Verry interesting! The prices have dropped drastically on them. A couple of years ago, a brand new one would cost about $ 20,000 US.

This is the real deal. Take apart aluminum rib based on the 530. Military bought these for 60K. I've found another one for 30K US in a box. check the price on this.

Thanks for the heads up Screaming 04. That price is incredible for what the boat is. There may be some restrictions to them selling it outside of the USA.

I thought about buying it but I saw a picture of it in the water... The bow isn't high enough for my liking, although I'm sure it gets quite a bit higher when it's on step.

A lot of the US government surplus boats have been ending up with fire departments and police departments. I've seen a number of them end up with agencies in the Northeast. Sometimes they're giving two or three to try to make one out of.
