Bimini Top

I am considering buying a bimini top for my AB Oceanus 19VST. I live in the Seattle area. Does anyone have any tips on where to buy one? Do I need to go with custom fabrication? Is professional installation required, or is it a reasonable DIY project?

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff--

I have one on my RIB and love it. Can do ~25 knots with it up. Looks to be a commercial variety, installation would appear to be simple (gluing some hard points on the tubes). Depends on how good you are in terms of gluing (and whether the tubes are hypalon).

If we get out and dive at some point, you can check it out, and see if that top would fit on your AB.

Might look at Taylor Made Marine. They do quite a few Bimini's (though I'm not sure about infaltables) and have a sort of modular T-Top.

You might check with Sunset Inflatibles. They carry your RIB and offer some reasonable Bimini top options http://www.sunsetinflatables.com/boac.html
