Very cool. Since you've cut through the deck, could you tell me what the deck laminate looks like?

Foam core (hard foam?) with how much glass each side? Reason I asking (Willard too) is I'm debating whether to add inserts or through bolt with access plate a few items.

Deck

I would say 1/4 on top then hard foam with grid system then 1/8 on bottom

Aft Deck Panel

Made the Aft deck panel and our molded rigging port that we will blend into the aft panel for a clean finished look.

Nice. What do you mean by rigging port? What is it?

I like how you removed the aft storage box and made the deck flush back there.

Probably a lot of williard owners would like that mod.

It's especially useful since you are adding storage elsewhere.

The rigging port is the raised section you see that is being glassed in. That is where all the rigging comes out of the floor and int the console. Their will still be under deck storage. We installed a false floor so items will stay dry.

New fwd hatch and deck plate

We have the last two pieces of glass in the boat. The fwd deck plate needs to be sanded and primed before paint and the fwd hatch needs to be installed. We are changing the Bomar hatch to gray from white.

Thanks, the secret part is all after the hull build. its all in the components. We got sponsored on this build so you will see some crazy new stuff on this boat and a dedicated website to the assembly of the boat. Im building the hull then providing it to the build. One of the hints is the deck rigging chase we had to build custom.

Room for lots of electronics cabling? All those fishing guys get sponsored, no reason you guys shouldn't too. You're on the water a lot more! (i.e. more exposure)

Our solution for deck tie downs

We finally decided on our in deck tie downs of choice. So when i made the hatch i integrated little pockets for them and built in mini gutters so the water would run out of them. They came out pretty good i think.

In post #58, 3rd picture,, what are the raised edges around the fuel tank for? (And why are they in that odd pattern?).

ICE2 will be a nice addition. Can't wait for more pictures.
