Confidence Course
During October & November we will be running a 2 night / 2 day "Confidence Course" from Lymington for ribbers and sport boat owners that are looking to push the boundaries of their comfort level either in their "Own Boat"* or in our 8 mtr Scorpion's.
The course is designed for those that have completed their level 2 and even those that have their Int or Adv, this course is NOT a substitute for the approved RYA syllabus or training offered- it IS designed for those that still have some reservations about operating in challenging conditions etc or are looking to take the commercial endorsement or want more than is currently structured in the RYA schemes.
Content includes the following:
Night Navigation and Ops, Reduced Visibility Navigation and Ops, Ship to Ship Transfers, Heavy Sea Escape and Evasion, Effective Planning and Communication, Vital Actions, Equipment Failure plus other handy hints etc.
This is NOT an RYA course.
Course cost will depend on numbers interested and whether they are own boat or on our scorpions.
The ideal would be to buddy up a min of 3 per boat both company and own boat.
* Minimum equipment list required if using own boat.
