Yamaha 703 control box - high one do I have and mystery holes.

Hi,
I've bought this 703 which has no ignition and kill switch installed nor a trim button - a basic manual set up i guess. Which is fine as I'll install the kill switch and my engines are all pull start.

Wondered what the two screw holes are for on the handle.?

Is this an early model? Anyone have a manual for it or know where to look?

It is missing the round disc cover buts thats ok or if anyone has one they want to put with.

Thanks for any pointers.

Looks pretty well stripped if the pic here is anything to go on.

Have a look at the diagrams here:

That's an Ex-RNLI throttle lever off an Atlantic 85.

The two screw holes were to secure a PTT button for the radio, whilst the slot below was for the cable to go through. This setup allows the helm to operate the radio whilst keeping one hand on the throttle.

Hope that helps!Click image for larger version

Ah ok, well it did come from coastal salvage place in South Wales. Nice to have a radio clip close by. I guess the rest can be added if needed. Thanks all
