Wiring Diagrams

Ive been doing a lot of re wirring recently and am now nearly finished tidying up the mass of wires in the console into some form of order. Have used a tip from Biffer who suggested attaching cable tie mounts to the ends of the bolts that secure the console locker door which is working a treat to tidy and route wires neatly.

My question is, as im now going to label every damn wire to further improve the neatness and ease of locating any specific wire Im also wanting to create a wirring diagram for the entire Rib. So my question is has anyone else produced there own wiring diagrams, can you share them so that I can get a good idea of how to proceed and also has anyone used or know about any specific software I could use to make a really professional job of it that I can then print out.

Google " Free Electronics Design Software " .

You can get permanent free " lesser " CAD packages from RS ( Dreamspark ) etc , or you can get thirty day trials of more professional software such as Multisim from National Instruments , or another different system from Altium .

I use both these packages at Work ( if you were passing by........ )

Hope this gives you a few ideas. As an engineering student access to design software is pretty easy but there are plenty of free alternatives for simple 2D stuff.
