Whats this!?

Another electrical noob question... what is the plug shown? a PL259 is the closest I can find, but they seem to be for UHF? this one is from my Icom VHF.

Look like a pl259 to me. It will work in a vhf

The icom m411 etc uses a PL259 plug

Are you changing the radio or just the plug like for like?
