What is this socket for...?

On my Zodiac, there are 2 sockets, both 12v, and one of them, is a normal cigarette style socket, but the other one, I have not seen before, and cannot work out what it is for. It has a 3 pin kind of connection.

Has anyone got any ideas please??

It is a waterproof connector - the mating half is this

PX0731/P BULGIN, Circular Connector, Buccaneer Standard Series, Plug, 3 Contacts, Pin, Screw, Cable Mount | Farnell element14

Worth checking what the panel mount female is connected to - it could be a mains input to an on-board charger or simply another 12v outlet (OTT maybe)

Cheers Jeff...!

The back of it, is wired inline with the other socket, so is 12v, and now you have shown me the mating piece, it kinda makes sense, and probably used for a search light, etc etc...!
