Icom and Standard Horizon have good reports.

Icom have a got a new super-compact high power floating, waterproof handheld coming out next month.

They also have these ones too, for the less patient among us.

If the new icom is anything like the M71 it will be good. I'm well pleased with mine the battery life is brilliant and also easy to use. Looking forward to some reviews of the new one coming next month.

Might be worth noting that we are giving away an Icom M23 when they do come out, in return for a review of the product.

To be in the running you just need to write a very short review of anything boaty you have bought recently and post it on the Channel Ribs Facebook page.

The best reviewer will get the radio.
