I've lost the charging cradle.

NCP; I'd suggest looking for a used radio/charger package (e-bay, Craigslist, etc.) Will probably be cheaper and easier than sourcing a replacement cradle. Or dump it and start over...

Well, that's an interesting quirk of the Android app. I started this post this morning before left for the beach, attached the pictures, started to type, but never hit the post button. So, continuing:

-Radio is in great shape, only used a few times
-No charger - not a broken charger, I don't even have it.
-I believe the battery is still good. I can turn on the radio and I haven't charged it in two years.

I have a automatic search on ebay set up and looking for me.

I have another one that I keep on the boat as my backup - It would just be nice to have this one working too.

I talked to Uniden and they weren't very helpful. "Sorry, we don't make that charger anymore."

So if you've got the other cradle you know the spec on the electric bits?

Put radio in poly bag.
Wrap bottom of radio with some CSM & fibre glass
Add a couple of strips of thin woody (lolly pop sticks would do) to make a base.
Let set.
Remove radio. Remove poly bag.
Tidy up.
identify position of metal contacts - drill and place a metal pin in place - preferably something springy..

Find suitable power supply.

Connect.

?

That might work...I can do all those things. Now, for some research.
