Tracking / Anti theft decice

Hi All,

Having just bought a new toy am now somewhat concerned at to number of RIB thefts that have been made. I keep pride and joy in a boat yard that is fenced off , but am aware that thefts have been made at the yard.

Has anyone any experience on fitting a tracking device to a RIB?

What are the cost and are there any units that are too expensive to buy / run?

Do you need extra battery power?

Any info / advice would be welcomed.

RIVA at ribsforsale.com has an awesome security package for RIBs - had a demo last week and its exactly that - a marine version of the tracker systems that cars are fitted with. Cant remember the £, but didnt seem too expensive..
