Hi,

Can you connect a Garmin 60 GPS with any of the DSC radios about at the moment ?

Thanks

Yes - should work fine as it outputs NMEA. You'll need a bare-wire data cable to connect into the radio's input. Garmin part no 010-10086-00 - around £16 (ouch!)

Alternatively, if you have a Garmin -> USB Data cable, you could use a USB extension cable. Chop the PC end off and wire from there. It would mean an extra connection, but no reason why not. Also, make sure you're using the right wires - colours won't necessarily be the same in a USB cable.
