Any Icom dealer will have details of the special offers now.

They are available from now until the end of the Boat Show.

OK here they are

Ok these prices are available from now until the end of the boat show.
They are available from any Icom dealer in the UK.
All units come with 3 year warranty and the super service offered by us
There are no plans to keep the units at this price after the show.
The price will go up.

IC-M31 £119.10 + VAT

IC-M1V £161.65 + VAT

IC-M401 £144.63 + VAT

IC-M503 £221.24 + VAT

IC-M421 £212.72 + VAT

IC-M601 £356.91 + VAT

What normally happens is that our ex VAT price becomes the inc VAT street price.
Depending on how keen the dealer is you may find them for slightly less.
If you are not sure of an Icom dealer in your area PM or mail me for details.

Hope that helps

Regards

This "check" will no doubt be made out from a "Cahoots" bank account.

Since you now reside in Florida you have obviously had a good year flogging balistics, so I am sure a small donation to JK will see you becoming a trade member, its probably only a days UK income tax. Then you will be able to have links like this under your signature block.

listen pete you cannont sell advertising for toffe ,i would be happy to pay on results ,not maybes , just so you understand we do the same with boats and outboards they fetch in results and earn good money

just so you know i will pay jk twice the trade membership for every boat i sell as a result of it being sold on here or a ribnet member coming to me to buy a boat ,

we already do this with many people, so stop harping on and show some results

Jason, I think your going about this the wrong way.

A quick look at your web site shows £1/2m worth of stock for sale, hardly a small operation then. From memory JBT has been trading for over a decade so an established business.

Why not approach advertising from a different angle. In the spring organise a Ribnet Day at the marina. An opportunity for members to come down and meet the team, view different boats available, perhaps invite someone like Peter White along to give a lecture, his first channel crossing (back in 92, I think) or on different hull shapes. Tony Lee-Elliott, the history of ribs... Ed (Ribraff) how to fix your tubes....

With the opportunity for individuals to try out different ribs on the water. Lunch at cost, members buying a ticket etc.

This would target the very audience you are selling to. Even if members don't sign a big cheque there and then, at least they have met you, know were you are and get know that you will be around for a long time.

Andy did this last year with Paintballing for Ribnet. People had a great time and now know where he is and what he offers. They go back and talk to friends and work collegues alike and word gets around.

So your marketing strategy for 2005 sorted, c/o Ribnet.

Pete
