Routing outboard cables

Hi

I’m changing the routing of the cables running from the console to the engine using rigging conduit but how do people run the steering cable which needs to exit the conduit?
Many thanks
Andrew

I'd expect there to be a lightweight nylon braid rope in the conduit already. Run the steering cable through it first. Tie the rope to the steering cable and use gorilla tape or similar so there's nothing to catch, lube it with Fairy Liquid and haul it through. Easier if you feed the steering cable in at the console while someone else pulls the rope.

Once that's done, feed through throttle cables, battery cables and everything else.
