Replacing a icom vhf ic-m401

I am rewiring a small rib and the icom vhf ic-m401 has stopped working and needs a replacment, whats the best option and is there any that other vhfs that would fit in the same hole.
Any advice would be good

Cheers Cam

An Icom M401 should be the same size hole

I assume you want to move to built in DSC though, the M411 is about 1cm larger in width and height. Could the hole be slightly enlarged?

The M401 is £140 and the M411 is only £129.
