Raymarine C80 brilliant

Just used it properly in the dark - the levels of brightness are great - adjustable all the way down until the display almost goes off - easy to use with the main wheel - almost analogue control of brightness - very impressed. There is also a nigh colour mode but didn't need it. Some plotters I have seen don't seem to go dark enough for night use without ruining your night vision.

Impressed with my battery as well - has lasted 6 weeks of torrential rain pumping the boat out all the time - still enough juice to start the engine - just!!!

I wish!!! The problem we have is that we actually know what we are doing - sadly that is NOT a good qualification to have in IT these days - apparently "change management" is far more important!!! The money thrown at IT solutions that just don't work is scary - especially government ones.

Ahh but I'm not a Jack - was born in Neath and spent many years all over the world.

For years, Neath folk have been vehemently denying that they are jacks, then Ospreys (Rugby, not Ribs!) were spawned, hence confirming all the suspicions and accusations from further West.
