New Garmin 721/751

Very cool

Panbo: The Marine Electronics Weblog: New Garmin GPSMap 741sx, 741, etc.; signs of what's to come?

Built in wifi and new design, wonder how long it will take to filter up to the bigger screens!

Clever improvement, but the only benefit of wifi as I understand it is for transferring routes from Garmin mobile on your smart phone. With the larger plotters its probably easier to plan your route on the plotter than on a smart phone in the first place.

Not true. Not only because lots of people have ipads nowadays anyway, but because of the convenience that planning a route in the pub the night before then instantly transferring it into the plotter in the morning gives
