Navman 5110 to Navman 7100

Hello from a newbie - I’d like to provide a GPS signal to a Navman 7100 VHF from a Navman 5110 tracker. The vhf has an 8pin male connector to accept a gps connection and the Tracker cable end has 6 unused taped over wires. I figure I need to connect the yellow and green wires to the radio and am wondering what connector I need in order to do it in some sort of neat fashion rather than cutting into the vhf cable and splicing. Would anyone be able to provide info on the pin out of the VHF connector and ,if I end up cutting cable, will the radio side use the same colour coding?
Thanks a million for any advice. Jer

Well ...snips, solder, heatshrink...and it’s working. Tracker white to radio yellow; Tracker black to radio green
