Navionics upgrade

Is it worth updating my Platinum chart
its two & half years old
has any body else done it.
I have varied reports on this, some dealers say that you buy a new chart and they give you £40 back for the old one
which seams a bit steep as the chart cost £399
another man said you send them back to Navionics and they
send you a fresh updated chart for £50 which seams a bit more senseable as its Saturday no ones open.

You could try ringing Piplers of Poole. They'll be open-or did you mean the manufacturer?

Just phoned Piplers of Poole
They say it has to go back to Navionics
he said that they are a nightmare to deal with, no standard
format for upgrading, so i will phone them on Monday
And let you know if its as bad as he says.

I, too, would be interested in upgrading my Platinum chart. Interested in your answer from Navionics.

Made contact at last with Navionics
You send your old CF card back to them along with name address etc
and for £72 they send you the latest platinum CF Card by special next day delivery.
Sounds simple ?

Thank you.

My RIB is stored at Yacht Haven quay, I think Navionics are just next door. With a bit of luck I can call in
