lowrance hds unit losing depth ????

seems to work fine then for no reason comes back to o to 5 feet
fishing in 80 feet water

anyone any ideas i have a airmar p79 transducer

i have just ordered the structure scan module and transducer

so would like to address this fault first

Is it Kicking up when travelling? If you can, I would resin it into the hull, splashwell or similar place?

yes it already is resin in place been there a couple years no probs

also trying to update the lowrance just now but cant unzip the file for some reason

I seem to remember it being a .RAR file- get a copy of Winrar (it's free)

still dont know about the depth thing
