Gpsmap 750

Anyone got a GPSMAP750? The specs look good, seems to be a fair amount for the money, but interested if anyone's using one.

Your are right, they are great value. A slightly smaller screen than the 5008 but about half the price. So long as you don't need video in then they are perfect.

We have them listed here for £825.

I've not bought stuff in from the CI before. I assume that would be +VAT?

There's no VAT.

I recently bought a couple of things from Channel RIBs. No VAT, fast delivery and very competitive prices. Very pleased.

You should always figure VAT in when comparing prices, import duty is payable and there are now a couple of ways that we can organise this. We try to make sure our prices compete well with UK ex-vat prices.

I would say that the items bought were either under the VAT threshold or of a material nature rather than finished goods.

Great, just started sorting the A frame for scan strut and repositioning VHF arial and ARW. Only snapped one drill bit, good going for me.

We have 750s on ours and very pleased with them. Ideal If stand alone plotter and not being networked. I have some pictures somewhere of them installled and working.
