garmin 3010c price

I found an eBay listing for a Garmin 3010c (item #6603943696 on the US site) from a source in London. He offers these units for GBP300 if a minimum of two are purchased - or bidding is now at GBP100 for a single unit with 22 hours left, which is much lower than any source in the States.

Is anyone familiar with this seller, or do you know any reason why the price would be so low? I could use one...if this is for real, and the unit will work in the States OK. Does anyone want the other if 2 are purchased?

Got to be a scam - tried the item number - must have been removed!!!

Garmin stuff is cheaper in the USA as it's made there - about the only thing you will find cheaper here is Raymarine stuff cos it's British.

With the $ so weak against the £ it's normally us who buy from you - unless it's RIBs of course!!!

Yes, unfortunately it was a scam. I sent an email saying I would buy two if he would accept eBay's Escrow service, with me paying all the fees. He said no, only payable through Western Union. Too good to be true! thanks for the reply.
