Floscan - customer service

The totaliser on my floscan decided not to work this weekend and I thought I would most likely be facing the cost of a new unit or at least P&P to the States and repair charge.
Fortunately by the power of the internet a guy called Ed at Floscan suggested the cause of the fault and how to "repair" - by cleaning various solder contacts on the pcb. ........... and it worked
Nice to know that good customer service extends beyond Icom !!
