DSC is carried by the VHF signal so it's the same range - only thing is the data burst may get through when a voice signal won't be heard.

Hi Richard
No chance of getting you on Sunday as I found the coax not fully into the base of the ant. Have now sorted and did a DSC test with Solent CG from our barn at Four Marks all working well. Will give u a buzz next time we are out . J

The DSC data burst will and does carry further due to its nature.
No one will give facts or figures and will only say it is the same as your voice calls in practice it is much further.

I have seen reports of DSC call going 80 miles and the voice a lot less on the same set up.

I would suggest you follow Codders idea of being the same as your voice for calculations

Cheers
