C-MAP MAX problems URGENT!!!!

Been on the new boat today but to my disgust the gps did not work, we've got the navman 6600. The sonar all worked and the fuel flow just the chart wgich didn't. Went on user card to see what it came up with and it says "device error"! There is no detail on the map only base map stuff not enough to navigate on. Doing the power boat course doesn't help not having it, anyone know of c-map dealers in the chichester area would be great, help needed urgent as back on course tomorrow morrning. I am sure you'll be able to help.
