Battery powered anchor light?

Self contained, waterproof, robust:

Could be handy. What does the forum think?

Or you could use a wee garden solar driven light.

How much? although if I needed an anchor light why not just leave the all round white light on. It's not like its going to drain the battery overnight.

Full retail price is 47 quid:

I guess the anchor light application is more suited to saily types, but they do seem useful. I must get in touch with wassisname of the River Race, the amber version in beacon mode could be handy for all those safety boats that do not have a permanently wired in one.
