Yamaha V8 steering system

Hello guys,

We are currently building a custom RING Powercraft 8.6 with a V8 Yamaha mounted on the transom.

We have mounted a SeaStar pro but the engine is too powerfull and the steering system is not capable of giving reliable performance at high speeds. I've been looking through the internet for a hydraulic steering system, capable for these engines and speeds. I found the IMCO site, showing lots of info, but only based on Mercury outboards. Does anybody know if there is a similar system on the market for Yamaha V8 outboards ?

Thanks,
Martin

send an email to Ron at imconevada [sales@imcomarine.com] He'll supply you with the correct bits for your motor.
